Biography

About

I’m an artist whose subjects are rendered with intimate care and attention to their unique beauty while communicating an underlying content that resonates with my audience. Having grown up in the suburbs of Philadelphia some of my earliest influences come from the area’s long-standing tradition of realist painters.

My work has been featured in exhibitions throughout the United States as well as internationally and is part of the permanent collection of numerous museums. Currently I am represented by several galleries throughout the Unites States including the Etherton Gallery, the Projects Gallery and the Sue Greenwood Gallery. I divide my time throughout the year living and working alongside my wife Kelly and our two basset hounds, Gertrude and Bertha, in both the Southwest and central Pennsylvania.
