Biography

About

Courtney Uldrich is the Collections Curator at the University Art Museum (UAM) at New Mexico State University (NMSU). In this role, Uldrich is expanding upon her curatorial and Collections management experience by managing and curating exhibitions directly from the NMSU Permanent Art Collection. Uldrich recently completed her M.A. in Art History at NMSU in 2022, with her curatorial thesis exhibition Establishing Our Own Art History: The Influence of Judy Chicago. Uldrich was the 2021 recipient of the Judy Chicago Art Education Award, funded by MaryRoss Taylor, an award that honors Judy Chicago and her pioneering work as an art educator. During her time at NMSU, Uldrich has curated four exhibitions at the UAM; Labor: Art & Motherhood in 2020- Permanent Collection Exhibition, Labor: Art & Motherhood in 2020- Retablo Collection Exhibition, St. Joseph and the Laborers, and Establishing Our Own Art History: The Influence of Judy Chicago.
