Each summer the Towson University MFA program of the Department of Art + Design, Art History and Art Education creates an exchange exhibition with another MFA program in the US or internationally. This summer’s exhibition represents an exchange with the current graduate students of the New Mexico State University Art Department. They produce works which push beyond the borders created within their personal practices, to fit within the borders of their shipping constraints, to show work from the border region. New Mexico State University MFA candidates include: Mama Cass, Joshua S. Flores, Fahimeh Foudazi, Andrea Luella Gohl, Carla Zabalegui Gonzalez, Patrick Shaffer, Marina Shaltout, Katy Stuckel, and Lea WiseSurguy-Sophilliazo. We are pleased to have our MFA's work travel to Towson, MD. Thanks to all the wonderful supporters who made it happen!
