Las Cruces Creates is a group exhibition running in the University Art Gallery January 15th, through February 28th, 2015. This group exhibition features 21 different artists who are currently making art within the community of Las Cruces.

JOHN GARRETT USES YOUR OLD CLOTHING FOR A RAGS TO ARTWORK WOVEN COMMUNITY STORY! Community weave will ask Las Crucens to donate their old t-shirts and clothing to be used in a large woven piece.
Starting on January 5, Garrett and Sage request that you donate all forms of knitted garb, including used and old T-shirts, knitted pants, shirts and skirts, which, over the course of the month, will be constructed into a large tapestry. Read more here

Las Cruces Connects is a celebratory weekend of art exhibits, art based events, and performances taking place February 6-8, 2015. This artastic weekend strives to create a connection between the University Art Gallery, Las Cruces Museum of Art, and all the various arts organizations within our community. We have created a map of each participating organization. There will be bus transportation at each of the blue marks on the map.
