Jeffrey Erwin was born and raised in the Arid Western United States and continues to engage the landscape and human relationships to the built environment. His work lives in the cross section of Art and Science often creating obscure objects that reference extraction, imagine regenerative methods, and/or engaging the public. Erwin has exhibited Nationally and Internationally including Scotland, New York, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and New Jersey. Erwin received his M.F.A. from New Mexico State University and a B.F.A. from Western Colorado University. In his free time, he loves to spend time outside and his favorite place to climb is the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
