MFA, Brittany Chavez’s New Work Included in the Exhibit, No Human Involved

Congratulations to our MFA Candidate, Brittany Chavez for her video has been accepted into the exhibit, No Human Involved. This exhibit is part of the 5th Annual Sex Workers Symposium at PICA, the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art.

Brittany was interviewed by PICA for this exhibit. The show opens on November 8, 2019 and coincides with a guest lecture by Emi Koyama, a panel discussion and the release of the Working It Zine. Other recent shows Brittany Chavez has been included are the following:

Solas Studio presents: Smut, held at Con Artist Collective in New York, NY. Exhibit was held February 20 – 22nd, 2019. Two of Brittany’s works were accepted into this show: Strippers, After Hours #2 and Duality (2016).  Birthday Suit, juried by Benjamin Sutton, held at Site:Brooklyn in Brooklyn, NY. Exhibition was open from March 15 – April 13th, 2019. Artworks included in this exhibit were Strippers, After Hours #2 and Paint Shower (2018).
