Kicking off the Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Visiting Artist, Liz Shores

Liz Shore is not unfamiliar with this area, having received her MFA from University of New Mexico. She is a true interdisciplinary artist working with scientists and lawyers to create work in what has been written as a “fast-paced praxis of call and response”. The goal of Liz Shores’ collective or LLC is to put into practice, alternative methodological strategies to portray objective data with regards to the monetization of land.

Ms. Shore is also a curator and writer, and has shown her work extensively from institutions such as SITE Sante Fe, The Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, to many other institutions reaching as far as Zayed University in Dubai. We are excited to sponsor her lecture Tuesday evening at 6 pm in the HSS Auditorium, Room 101. This event is open and free to all.
