NMSU 2011 Distinguished Alum, Dr. Kim Baronowski

Dr. Kim Baronowski is an alum from the NMSU Department of Art where she received her BFA in sculpture and her MFA in Sculpture and Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth. Dr. Baronowski went on to receive her doctorate in psychology and is currently a counseling psychologist in New York City where she also serves as the associate director of the Mount Sinai Human Rights Program. Recently, Matt Katz from NPR station, WNYC  interviewed Dr. Baronowski in regards to her pro bono work with immigrants who are seek asylum for fear of abuse or even death.
