Our Department of Art’s Metal/Jewelry Professors, Julia Barello and Motoko Furuhashi are two of the 300 artists from five cultures to present their work as part of an exhibit, American Jewelry from new Mexico that focuses on 2,500 years of jewelry history. The show opened up on June 2nd and runs through the middle of October at the Albuquerque Museum of Art.
A book published by the Museum of New Mexico Press complements the exhibition.
