Richard Hesketh was born in Munich, Germany in 1974. He received his BFA in Fine Arts at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2008 and his MFA in Ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art n 2011. His work is focused on concepts related to perception. By drawing our attention to materiality, surfaces, relationships and other elements that define objects, the viewer re-evaluates existing notions of identity.
