Hello!

My name is Elizabeth Zarur and I am an associate professor of art history at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Welcome to my web page.

My areas of expertise relate to indigenous and colonial art and architecture of Latin America. Some of my research focuses on the retablo art of nineteenth-century Mexico, sacred art of Minas Gerais and the featherwork of the Bororo Indians.
