1 – Month Residency for MFA Graduate, Madison Manning Coming Up Soon!

“Madison Manning, MFA candidate, was selected for a one month residency at DE-CONSTRUKT [PROJEKTS] in Brooklyn, New York. In January, Madison will host Big Fun Party With All Your Cool Weird Stuff; a participatory installation that changes daily with the guests. Guests are invited to bring their old belongings and thrift store treasures- clothes from ex-partners, expired make up, mismatched fabrics with no purpose – and make a large scale collage with Madison. They are welcome to drop off the belongs and leave, bring a friend and everyone can work together as a group, or even bring a date and some wine while Madison makes a piece with the materials. Once the piece is finished and the day is over, it will be taken apart and the canvas will be fresh for another party the following day. Upon graduation in May 2018, Madison will move her practice to Brooklyn.
