MUSEUM CONSERVATION STUDENT, ELENA MARS MAKES THE FRONT PAGE!

While working on one of New York City’s conservation projects, the Washington Square Arch, Elena Mars was captured working alongside another intern during their conservation of this monument. ¬†Miss Mars received an internship in New York City’s Parks Department Citywide Monument Conservation Program where they manage over 500 sites under Director, John Saunders. The Department of Art’s Museum Conservation program is guided by Director, Silvia Marinas-Feliner who helps to place students in internships around the world and oversees their conservation efforts on our main campus.
